This tool steps through each calendar day between your start and end date and time. For every Monday through Friday, it finds the overlap between your chosen daily working-hours window (for example, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and the actual start/end range, then adds up the overlapping minutes across all days.
Weekends are skipped entirely, and any time before the business day starts or after it ends on a given day doesn't count, so a request submitted at 6:00 PM on a Friday and answered at 10:00 AM the following Monday would only count the time from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Monday, not the entire weekend.
