For each day you enter both a clock-in and clock-out time, this tool calculates net hours worked after subtracting any unpaid break, the same way the Shift Calculator does. It then sums all days worked into a weekly total, splits that total into regular hours (up to your overtime threshold) and overtime hours (anything beyond it), and multiplies by your hourly rate, applying the overtime multiplier to overtime hours, to estimate gross pay.
Leave both the clock-in and clock-out fields blank for any day you didn't work; you don't need to fill in all seven days.
No, only fill in clock-in and clock-out times for the days you actually worked. Leave both fields blank for days off.
40 hours per week is the most common threshold in many countries, but check your local labor law or employment contract, some jurisdictions calculate overtime daily rather than weekly.
It's a close estimate based on the hourly rate and overtime rules you enter, but it doesn't account for taxes, deductions, shift differentials, or other pay rules your employer might apply.
